Our environment and economy has the potential to benefit considerably if we refine, develop and integrate existing ideas, research & development models and strategic policy on the way forestry, a key natural resource, could be developed here.
SUSTAINABLE VISION
We must strategically and cohesively plan to manage & develop what resources we do have, and use them in a way that is both economically and environmentally sustainable. We have been in discussion with Government sectors supporting Enterprise, Industry and Education, key facets of the forestry & timber sectors + associated stakeholders in the timber product chain. Liaison with R&D resources within the E.U. and beyond has developed our vision, goals & implementation strategy for the project. We now seek expressions of interest & support from:
• Forestry & Timber Life Cycle Chain & Government Procurement Policy
• Design Professions, Academic Research, Art & Design Faculties
• Construction Industry, Artists & Craftspersons the Arts collectively.
This is underpinned by a strategic goal to facilitate ‘a new collective’ harvesting ideas, to develop sustainable skills and deliverables, built on integrated education, research and development models and processes.
